Syllabus
The students of the seva center will approach the subjects that will help them build basic theory background and practical methods. They will learn how to best focus the creative approach and work proficiently on all the projects.
Dyeing:
Natural dyeing:
Natural dyes are created by using natural materials like leaves, roots, bark and flowers.
The Course includes extracting die from natural materials, understanding mordants, And Dyeing natural fabrics.
Tie and Dye:
A number of resist dyeing techniques are introduced in this module.
The process of tie-dye typically consist of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric or a garment, before binding with a string or rubber bands, followed by the application of the dye.
Embroidery:
Embroidery is an art form using the needle and the thread.
There are 30 essential stitch tutorials Included in the course, that are often used to embellish the garments.
Thread work, Beed work, metal work, patch work, silk thread embroidery, zari embroidery are also included.
Printing:
Block printing, stencil printing, hand painting, and batik printing are a part of the course.
